El Niño™
Chitalpa x
El Niño is an intergeneric cross between Chilopsis and Catalpa. Both have passed on the best of their unique characteristics. The fragrant flowers have an eye-catching purple colour, form remarkable clusters and appear abundantly in late spring. This plant was bred to withstand very warm conditions and to cope with poor soil conditions. Its foliage will remain blemish free even in intense conditions.
