With a total number of 31 Hydrangea varieties in the European Proven Winners® program, it was the time to make a European version of the Proven Winners® Hydrangea guide.

Our partner in Germany, Sämann Baumschulen, presented Sugar Shack in a unique way at their in-house exhibition in January.

Valkplant entered the plant in the Beste Novelty competition during the summer edition of Plantarium Groen-Direkt taking place on the 12 & 13th of June 2023. At the same time Valkplant is presenting Proven Winners® shrubs at the Flower Trials (13-16th of June) together with our European Proven Winners® annual partners.

We took part for the first time with a Proven Winners® / Valkplant stand at the Journées des Plantes in Chantilly (fair in France, north of Paris) from 12 to 14 May 2023.

In 2023, we have a full marketing calendar to promote the Proven Winners® brand through various activities.

Our highly valued partner in Germany Kordes Junpflanzen participated with a Proven Winners® booth at the Lebensart fair in Lübeck.

In France Proven Winners® sponsored the photo contest ‘Le plus beau jardin 2022’ of the consumer gardening magazine l’Ami des Jardins et de la Maison.

Congratulations to the U23 team who finished the championship in 2nd place and won the silver medal!

Our partner in Poland, Szkółki Kurowscy, put one of the new Proven Winners® panicle Hydrangeas, Little Lime® Punch, in the spotlight.

Valkplant is present at the Floriade Expo 2022 creating great visibility for Proven Winners® both in open ground as well as with a retail presentation.

Valkplant is introducing 4 new stunning Hydrangea paniculata varieties under the Proven Winners® brand.

As of spring 2022 a Proven Winners® branded truck has hit the roads in Germany for deliveries across Europe as an addition to our marketing efforts.

We have continued the successful collaboration between Proven Winners® and the Dutch TV show De Grote Tuinverbouwing in 2021. A wide range of Proven Winners® plants is presented in 20 shows from spring to autumn.

In 2021, Valkplant has introduced two new exceptional plants to its Proven Winners® assortment, Viburnum Oh Canada® and Buddleja Rocketstar® Amethyst.

In addition to the Proven Winners® ads, we have also featured the beautiful Loropetalum Black Pearl in consumer gardening magazines in France and Italy.

In 2021 we extended our print campaign to well-known magazines in France, Italy and Denmark to promote the Proven Winners® brand and varieties to consumers.

In 2021, Valkplant took a very important step towards sustainability by switching to a new Proven Winners® container made of 100% post-consumer recycled material.
