A small tree with highly decorative bark (smooth and mottled with green and white). The pale green leaves take on warm yellow-orange hues in autumn. The small two-winged fruits (samaras) are produced in hanging clusters in summer. It is perfect for small gardens. Give it rich, lime-free soil, preferably in semi-shade.
