In spring, the branches are covered with pearl-shaped, lime-green buds, which open into lime-green, camellia-like double flowers that gradually turn pure white. Covered in flowers from top to bottom, it is a real eye-catcher and also makes a lovely cut flower. This thornless shrub is best planted in a sunny spot; it is hardy, suitable for all soil types, and heat- and drought-tolerant.
